Spring 2023 Season -- Referee Training Classes Are Completed!
The Spring 2023 OYAA Soccer referee classes have concluded.
The Fall 2023 season classes will be offered at the end of July/ early August.
The Spring 2023 OYAA Soccer season begins on Saturday, April 8, 2023; ends on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Referee Shirts
Referees will be asked to purchase a game-day referee shirt. Cost is $12.00 Referees who purchased the new Black Moisture wicking shirt in the Spring 2022 or Fall 2022 do not need to purchase another shirt. If you are an USSF grade 8 (or higher) referee you can wear your referee shirt (and badge) and you do not need a OYAA issued referee shirt unless you want to order one.
Game Signup
Schedules will posted on the Arbiter Sports site for referees to pick dates, times and locations that work for their personal schedules. Referees will learn how to create an account and sign-up for games as part of the training classes.
** Class information **
The OYAA Soccer referee program is open to new and experienced youth and adults.
Referee Status: Individuals who have
-- 0 seasons of experience with OYAA = NEW... must attend the Monday, March 13th class.
-- 1 season of experience are required to attend the Monday, March 13th class.
-- 2+ seasons are asked to attend one of the refresher classes
-- Earned the USSF referee, Grade8 certification for 2023 are asked to attend one of the refresher classes
NEW Referee Class: Individuals with no previous soccer officiating experience. Must turn 12yrs old by 4/8/23.
The March 13th referee training class is closed. We have reached classroom capacity. If you are interested in becoming a referee, please email [email protected] to be placed on the waitlist for March 13th. If there is enough interest, we may offer another class later in March.
CLOSED -- Class Option 1: Monday, March 13th. 6:00 to 8:45 PM
Returning Referee Class: Individuals who have officiated 1 season with OYAA Soccer (Spring or Fall 2022)
