Teams for 6U T-ball and 8U Rookie are formed by school attendance areas as much as possible. Requests, though not guaranteed, are considered in team formation.

This is the introduction to baseball in a fun, safe, and supportive team environment. OYAA uses a combination coach pitch and hitting from a tee in 6U. Players are placed on a team by OYAA according to their schools.
- Equipment needed: Baseball glove, helmet, USA Baseball Bat, molded cleats (soccer or football cleats are fine for this age), gray baseball pants. OYAA will provide a hat and jersey, baseballs and a team bat.
- Practices start 4/16/2023.
- Games start 5/21/2023
(1st weekend games will be on a Sunday; remaining weekend games are on Saturdays). Games will not be played Memorial Day weekend. - Fridays and Sundays are generally reserved for make-up games. A Monday or Wednesday rainout will generally be played on Friday at the same field and time. A Saturday rainout will generally be played on Sunday at the same field. No Sunday games start before noon.
- 1 or 2 weekday games (Monday or Wednesday) and 1 Saturday game over 6 playing weeks for up to 14 total games. There will be no games Memorial Day weekend and the weekend of June 9, 10 & 11. Enjoy a weekend off.
- Picture day will be June 3, 2023.
- The T-ball season will conclude by June 30, 2023.

Players in 10U are chosen to teams through a draft
The 10U Division affords those players whose baseball skill sets develop at a different pace the opportunity to enhance their skills and to fall in love with the game. The focus is to introduce strategy and team play with further refinement of the fundamental skills of baseball. Played on 65' bases and 46' mounds.
- - Equipment needed: Baseball glove, helmet, USA Baseball Bat, molded baseball cleats, baseball pants, socks & belt (color determined by coach), and protective cup.
- Evaluations will be April 3, 2023 at 6 PM at Scioto Ridge Elem School with a rain make-up date of April 7, 2023 at 6 PM at Scioto Ridge Elem School.
- Practices can start 4/10/2023.
- Games will start the week of May 15, 2023.
- Fridays and Sundays are generally reserved for make-up games. A weekday rainout will generally be made up on Friday. A Saturday rainout will generally be played on Sunday.
- Teams can expect to play one or two weeknight games and one Saturday game per week. Plan on up to three doubleheaders - up to 16 total games.
- The last regular season scheduled game will be June 24, 2023. THERE WILL BE AN END OF SEASON LEAGUE TOURNAMENT.
- The end of season tournament will start June 26, 2023 with the league tournament championship game played on July 5, 2023.
- The 10U Minors All-star game is tentatively scheduled for July 12, 2023.
10U Advanced:

The 10U Advanced Division will have a 9U and a 10U or a combined 9 & 10 year old team that will be called the OYAA Lobos Tournament Team. The Lobos will participate in three area rec league all-star tournaments. The Lobos Tournament Team will be picked by the coaches and comprised of the top 11 or 12 players in both age groups or a combined 9 & 10 team. There will be a separate fee for players chosen to the Lobos Tournament Teams to cover the expense of their uniform and any tournament entry fees. For any player chosen to the Lobos Tournament Team, there will be a mandatory parents meeting to discuss what is involved in the special distinction their ballplayer has earned. The Lobos team will be formed by June 11, 2023. These games will be played as early as July 8, 2023.

Players in the 12U Division are chosen to teams through a draft. Players are expected to attend one of the evaluation sessions.
This division plays on 70' bases and 50' mounds. The players in this age group really start to understand the game and it shows on the field with fun, competitive, quality (most the time) baseball.
- Equipment needed: Baseball glove, helmet, USA Baseball Bat, molded baseball cleats, baseball pants, socks & belt (color determined by coach), and protective cup. Each player is provided a team hat and jersey.
- Evaluations will be right after spring break.
- April 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Scioto Ridge Elem School. Arrive early to check in. Be on the field at 6.
- Rainout Session: Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM (NEW TIME) at Scioto Ridge Elem School. Arrive early to check in at 9:45. Be on the field at 10 AM.

14U & 16U: Games start after June 1, 2022. This is after middle school and high school baseball is over. The season ending tournament will be in mid-July.

Fee collection for 16U will be delayed until enrollment numbers can be reviewed. Notice for payment collection will be communicated via email with a clear deadline.
- The first game will be around June 1. The league tournament championship game will be around July 16, 2023.
- There will be up to 16 games scheduled with two to three games per week with an end of season league tournament. We try to schedule all games between Sunday and Thursday. This does allow travel ball players to participate in the league with their friends.
- There are no evaluations. Register with a player or coach request. Any player not making a request to be on a team will be assigned to a team. Player and coach requests cannot be guaranteed.
